KCK 2016 Election Timetable and Nomination Form

The KCK Election Board wishes to release the Official Time Table and the Nomination Form for KCK elections 2016. The election is scheduled for September 16th, during the AGM, following the  changes made during the Seollal Meeting in February.

ELECTION LEGAL FRAMEWORK

Note that all electioneering processes shall follow:

  1. The KCK Election Code/By-Laws
  2. The KCK Constitution
  3. General Ethical conduct expected of all Kenyans

 

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

  1. You must be a Registered Member of KCK.
  2. Pay Nomination (Non-Refundable) Fee of 30,000 Won to the KCK Election Board at:  Nong-Hyup Bank (Emmah Kimani) Account No. 301 0092 7906 01.
  3. Fill in and submit Online Nomination Form.
  4. Provide 5 names and contacts of recommendation (see the nomination form)

Candidates must be registered members of KCK.

Seconded by 5  registered members.
August 15th, 2016 Last Day of Nomination (And Deadline for Payment) Constitutional provision.
August 16th, 2016 Campaign Period Begins Constitutional provision.
September 15th, 2016 Last Day of Campaigns By-Laws
September 16th, 2016 Election Day AGM
September 16th, 2016 Release Preliminary Results Close of the Day
September 16th-18th Resolve any Disputes By-Laws
September 19th, 2016 Publish Official Results KCK website etc.
